Green Restoration Campaign
Located in the Mineral Springs section of Central Park, the New York Lawn Bowling Club has promoted the game of lawn bowling in New York City since 1926. We share Central Park Conservancy's commitment to deepen community engagement with the Park and cultivate appreciation through personal, meaningful, and memorable experiences. To help commemorate the 100th anniversary of our club in 2026, we have joined with the New York Croquet Club in an initiative to restore our greens and restore the Mineral Springs facilities to benefit both bowlers and park goers alike.

Our Campaign
Community Support
Throughout 2021 we have met with the various Manhattan Community Boards surrounding the park, which have unanimously supported our initiative. But we need support from everyday park goers and lawn sports lovers to move this project forward.
DPR & CPC Approval
New York City's 6th District Council has promoted our project for consideration to the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) and the Central Park Conservancy (CPC). Budget planning talks are underway.
